Details of Last Hours:

Hasan did not acquiesce to the war that Gaza was suffering. Soon he went out with his friends, moving from an alley to another without caring for the state of terror that was imposed on north Gaza in particular.

After his mother had succeeded to obtain some bread, Hasan ate his breakfast, changed his clothes, and went out to play "Al-Bananir" game with the boys of his neighborhood. When it was the time for Al-Maghrib prayer, his brother took him to offer the prayer in Ibrahim Al-Maqadmah's mosque. After they had finished, intended to go home, a reconnaissance warplane aimed at the people coming out of the mosque causing tens of casualties.

The sixteen-years-old boy Hasan Hijju was one of those little kids who were shot in the head. Hasan was killed inside the most beloved mosque to his heart where he dedicated a place to memorize the Glorious Qur'an.

More Information:

Hasan loved and cared for the young kids so much, especially the kids of his neighborhood to the extent that Hamzah, the neighbors' kid, comes to ask about him until today. Days before he had been martyred, Hasan asked his mother to beget a child for him and when she told him that she had enough kids, he asked her dearly to beget a little one for his sake.

His mother said: "I begot two boys and seven girls and I was dreaming of a day to come in which I could see the boys grow up to become young men." They had killed Hasan, while he was offering prayer, before I could see him a young man.

I remember when he asked me to let him marry with his brother in the same day, but I refused and said: we shall let you marry in a different day so that we can celebrate more and more. Allah is sufficient for us, and how fine a trustee He is! Now, I have nothing to do but to supplicate Allah for my little baby. I ask Him to be pleased with Hasan and admit him to the highest place in Paradise — by Allah's Will."

His Dreams:

His mother said: "Hasan was not so much brilliant at school but he was so in memorizing the Qur'an. He used to memorize the Qur'an easily with his brother then hurry to the mosque to tell what he had memorized. His first wish was to become a sheikh and an instructor to teach the Islamic subjects and the Qur'an to young children, but unfortunately, he died before he could make that dream come true.
