| The Story of
Martyrdom:
Salha's family realized that they will leave soon, but no
one of them ever dared to speak about what he or she has
seen to the people around them. The father saw a vision of
leaving his home but he did not expect that it would be
quickly. He told his wife about the vision but he did not
imagine to leave her. On the other hand, she told him about
the white ghosts which chased her in the house but he did
not know neither about the time to leave nor its
circumstances.
At the beginning of the air bombard on the 27th of
December 2008, Baha' had a feeling that he will die soon. He
told his father that the bombing is approaching but his
father persuaded him that the loud sound was only an
emptiness of air. Baha' insisted that the sound was an air
strike and it was as Baha' said. He was grabbing his
mother's hand at the door when he was getting away, but a
missile launched from a warplane tore him, his mother, and
siblings apart. Only Nour and his two sisters survived to
suffer the bitterness of pain and separation.
His father said: Baha'u-Din was so special because of his
qualities and he was very genius. If he saw someone for the
first time, he would recognize him even if he was absent for
years or came to him disguised in any form. He was bold, in
the limits of his childhood, and imitated everything he saw
precisely.
If we want to speak about Baha'uddin, we will not speak
only about his four years old, but we need to speak more
than that because the details of his life are full of
events. Baha' was so beloved to his father whom he
accompanied wherever he went or stayed. He was so close to
the heart of his father. After his martyrdom, his friends
could not believe that he was gone for good. One day, one of
them entered the house of Baha' and called loudly by his
voice "Baha' .. Baha'" Unfortunately, Baha' did
not answer, but the neighbor answered him that Baha' is no
longer in this world and he was martyred. Thereupon, the
eyes of that young kind were full of tears as well as the
eyes of his friends who accompanied him out of sorrow to the
memory of their late friend. That boy who was attached to
Baha' returned home and did not get out for a week during
which he stayed sick; crying for Baha'. Today, Baha's father
tries to find that faithful friend to hug him and give him
something as he used to do with Baha', but he does not know
where to find him.
His wish was to start memorizing the Qur'an until he
memorizes it all but he could not do that because he was
still too young and did not know how to read or write.
Despite his father's attempts to take him to the places
where the Qur'an is memorized, but the answer was the same;
he was still too young to memorize it.
