The Story of Martyrdom:

Angham (10 years old) advanced her mother to herself, and persuaded her to stay home and depend on her to get her siblings who had fled from long stay during the wartime. She thought that she was small and fast and the Israeli warplanes cannot target her because they will not see her.

Actually, the girl carried out what she wanted and went outside to look for her siblings in the nearby agricultural land. She saw off the people of the house and walked to the garden, and in few seconds, the Israeli reconnaissance warplanes fired one of their missiles at her, tearing her little body apart. When the wife of her uncle (Intisar Al Masry) tried to pull her little body away from the road, the warplanes fired another missile at her, killing her and left her nine children without a mother.

In the middle of a large family (9 sisters and 8 brothers), Angham grew up to occupy a great status in the heart of her mother and siblings for her sense of humor and her activity. Her mother says: "She was very caring and used to save some of the house needs to use them in the time of need and alleviate the bad economic life that we experience." Angham used to take care of her sick father who needed help in managing his life affairs; Angham used to meet his needs all the time.

Angham was a student in primary four and wished to join the University as her siblings. Her mother says: "A few days ago, I asked her to leave me alone to bake some bread in the oven, but she refused and said: "If you die as a martyr, I will die with you with God willing." I see her everywhere in the house and when I intend to do anything, I remember how she was very helpful. She used to take care of her nephews and nieces as if she was older and they were younger and she forgot the fact that they are children alike."
