The Story of Martyrdom:

On the thirteenth of January, Muhammad headed to the grocery shop nearby his house to charge the battery of the mobile which ran out because of the continuous electricity outage. Muhammad thought that he was secure because he went out during the time that the Israeli army declared as safe, but that was not true. As soon as a number of citizens gathered at that grocery shop, the missiles were launched at them one by one, killing six people and nine people were injured; they were survived of incontestable death, but Muhammad was the youngest martyr.

Muhammad was the eldest of his brothers and so was he to his mother. He was the closest to her heart, moreover, he gained a lot of love from all his siblings, neighbors, and family who are still in shock out of his sudden death. Muhammad was as the quiet aura of spring, quiet, sober, of good manner, and used to memorize thirteen parts of the Qur’an. His mother added: At school, he was excellent and excelled in his study as well as in his relationship with his colleagues and teachers. They had good relationship with him not only because he was the focal point in the class, but also because his good manners and high ethics.

As for his status in the heart of his little sister Nisreen, Muhammad gained a high status of love. His mother said: “The relationship between Nisreen and Muhammad was perfect. Whenever he asked her to bring him something or meet a simple need, she asked him about the reward. The greatest reward was when he told her that she was going to sleep on his chest. When she heard that, she went like a lightening to meet his needs. Now, nothing will compensate her for the warm chest of her brother Muhammad.”

Muhammad started his day by going to school and ended it with the masjid. As soon as he came back from school, he went to a session to improve his English, then came back home to have lunch, finished his homework, studied his lessons, and went out again before the Maghrib Prayer to the masjid and did not come back except after the `Isha’ Prayer.

Muhammad dreamt to join the university and study medicine. He took practical steps to achieve that dream through the English sessions he used to take to qualify him in the near future to study medicine in any country in the world.
