| The Story of Martyrdom:
Suhaib-16- tried have a little walk on the sea sand which covered the beautiful large area in front of his house in Al Zawayda district in spite of the disturbing roars of the planes that were all around the place.
During that time, Suhaib kept close to his father who had just entered the house in the evening. No sooner had Suhaib started to greet his father, then an Israeli craft surprised them by shelling the front part of their neighboring house leading to the martyrdom of Suhaib, his father and sister on the spot.
On the sand, Suhaib's mother sat on the sand and cried while relating the martyrdom story of Suhab, his father and sister, Widad. She said, " I don't know what to say. I don't know how to cry over them. We have lost all our dears. May Allah almighty help us! They mercilessly killed them. Our house now is silent like death. I usually heard mothers say that those who were martyred are the elite of our children. They are right indeed. Suhaib and Widad were the best of our children. Allah has granted me their martyrdom.
Suahb hadn't had high level education. He preferred to do manual work; namely "carpentry" after he had completed his first year secondary. His mother watched him grow up every day and grow handsomer day after day and thanked God for giving her that boy with his lovely ethics.
Suhaib paid exceptional agricultural attention to the fine piece of land adjacent to his house to add to the natural green beauty of that land near the sea. He always preferred to plan onions, potatoes, and vegetables which his family had benefited from. His mother says, " He has gone, but his plants are still there. I see them everyday. They drive tears into my eyes lamenting the death of the cultivator. I usually refrain from gathering or eating them since he is not around to share. May Allah almighty help us!
Suhaib was dreaming of building two workshops from the two crafts he was fond of; namely sewing and carpentry. He was strongly built. He challenged all the young men of is family. He used to carry them on his back. If the challenge was related to the sea, he was a very clever swimmer making many of his friend envious of him.
His uncle's wife says he was truly and obedient. He satisfied the needs of all. Sometimes we burdened him by our demand. I remember how he had gone without fixing the closet. He had left early.
