From Tal Al Hawa Neighborhood in the west of Gaza to Al Yarmouk District in the north, the family of Mohammed Sha`ban Aslim rushed seeking for help after the intensified bombing and destruction in their neighborhood, but they could not find a safe place. As a result of the continuous attacks by warplanes and tanks, the families rushed to the Red Cross seeking for protection, and there they remained two hours waiting for things to calm down in Tal Al Hawa Neighborhood.

In the noon hours, they continued their march to the house of the husband's brothers in Al Yarmouk District in the north of Gaza. There, Ahmad and Hosam insisted to get down to the courtyard of the house to spend some times in playing which they were deprived of during the days of war in Tal Al Hawa. Two hours or less and the tragic of killing Sa`id Siyam, the Minister of interior in the government of Gaza when he was in a house in Al Yarmouk District. The targeted house was nearby the house of Aslim, therefore, the shrapnel of the missile killed the boys at once while the entire family was injured except a little girl.

Ahmad was in the second grade of prep school. During the years of his study, he was so special, but his level deteriorated a little when he was transferred from a public school to a private one to the extent that he decided to leave school forever and concentrate on memorizing the Glorious Qur'an with his melodious voice. However, he did not do that because his father had convinced him not to do so because study is the only way to get a decent social status.

Despite his young age, he looked older; not in shape but in character because he was a grown up person in the clothes of a young boy who used to take care of his siblings. Ahmad was helpful to his aged grandmother who always spent the summer holiday in her house to take care of her and meet her needs.

The details of his life go between school and masjid as they also include fun and play like any other kid. He had good relationships with his friends and teachers and used to prefer others to himself even if he is in dire need.

Ahmad wished to live in order to make his dreams come true. He wished to become a computer engineer because he was excellent in dealing with computers and internet, especially the hardware, but unfortunately, his dreams did not come true.
