On the 15th of January 2009, Shayma' was going to complete her nine years of age, but her birthday was the day of her death. She says: Shayma' asked me for a cap and a scarf and I promised her to get her one, but the conditions of war prevented me. Now, she leaves without keeping my promise to her. Whenever she wears the cap and the scarf of her sister Aminah, she would ask the attendants: who is more beautiful; Me or Manal Al Mutawwaq (a young singer)? They would answer her: you are the most beautiful. When she hears that, she begins to sing with her beautiful voice.
